Ryan Hurd's 2019 CMA Fest Nike Blazers

A custom pair designed and handpainted for Ryan Hurd's 2019 CMA Fest show. The pair was first covered with layers of a crackle paint. Then a traditional Native American pattern was hand-painted on the sides of the shoe. It was then finished with multiple washes of clay, coffee, and ash to further age the shoe and bring out the depth of the crackles. Buckskin covered mallard, goose feathers, and deer hair accents were finished with hand-dyed hemp that wrapped around the ends. The ends were then attached to the top of the shoe through traditional slits and then tied on with deer-hide. To finish the laces were accented with the hemp wrap.
